Pascale Bellot

Gallery : Le Bourget

Birth : Sorel, Québec.1964.

Training : At the age of fourteen, Pascale Bellot attends pastel painting classes with Mr. Raymond Picard, well known artist in the Sorel area. Living in the countryside, in Saint-Roch-sur-Richelieu, she developed her sense of observation inspired by Mother Nature.
Subsequently, Pascale moved to Montréal’s plateau Mont-Royal, somewhat quite different from what she saw during her youth, and was very impressed by the grace of the external stairs.
These staircases have now been her favorite subject for the last few years and are now an integral of her work. She compares them to human beings, sometimes spiritual, elegant, warm, faithful and good dancers by their shapes.

Medium : Oil.
